"I have no equity stake – I'm driven by passion for what we're building."

Yet many in the crypto community share a similar head-scratcher: how did OpenAI transition from a non-profit mission to a for-profit venture? It's the kind of organizational pivot that raises questions about incentive alignment and what happens when idealistic missions meet commercial realities. The tension between founding principles and market pressures is something the entire Web3 ecosystem grapples with.

No equity and still shouting passion, I'm tired of hearing this rhetoric... Changing from non-profit to for-profit is basically ideals getting hit in the kidney by money. Web3 isn't much better either, stop pretending.

Nice words, but in the end, isn't it just attracted by capital?

Honestly, how many times have you heard the phrase "passion-driven" in Web3... From non-profit to for-profit, this turnaround is even more dramatic than a K-line.

Hmm, this statement of "loving the mission"... Let me check the data. From a source code analysis, the switch from non-profit to for-profit is interesting. Theoretically, once the incentive mechanism changes, the behavior pattern should change accordingly, right?

Nice words, but Web3 has seen this all before. Ultimately, all idealism dies on the fundraising table.

Sounds nice, but who in the crypto world still believes this?

Uh... that's easy to say, everyone can talk about passion, but wallets are the real passion, alright?

Passion-driven? Well... that's just nice talk. In the end, it's all about eating.

Saying that there's no shareholding motivation and it's all about passion? Haha, I'm tired of hearing that line.
