Morning!

Recently, we're noticing some encouraging signals emerging across the NFT landscape. While I'd rather stay cautious about making overly optimistic predictions, the trajectory we're seeing could suggest that 2026 might shape up differently for the NFT sector.

After the extended consolidation period, there's a growing sense that digital collectibles and on-chain assets aren't just a passing trend—they're becoming a fundamental layer of Web3 infrastructure. Market activity, community engagement, and institutional interest all seem to be finding a new rhythm.

The pieces might finally be coming together. NFTs aren't going anywhere; they're evolving into something more durable and purposeful.

On-chain data shows that the whales are quietly accumulating again. I bet this isn't the real bottom [dog head]

NFT this time really feels different; it seems like the infrastructure layer is truly moving.

technically speaking, the "fundamental layer" framing here is doing a lot of heavy lifting without actually specifying *which* implementations we're talking about. are we looking at actual utility or just prettier tokenomics? because there's a meaningful difference lol
