The second pancake is currently around 3150, appearing calm but with undercurrents swirling beneath. From a technical perspective, the first resistance is at 3185; if it can't hold here and rebounds, it will be meaningless. The real reversal point is at 3220, but only a volume breakout can confirm the reversal. On the downside, the situation is also complex: 3080 is an initial support, and 3020 is the true line of defense further down.

The short-term trend is likely to be: first fluctuating between 3185 and 3080, then breaking below 3080 with increased volume to test the 3020 to 3050 zone. Of course, there's a small chance of a reversal, which would require a major positive catalyst or a sharp rally in Bitcoin to trigger a volume breakout above 3220 and achieve a reversal. Another possibility is sideways consolidation, waiting for new news to emerge.

The key lies in the two major danger zones shown on the liquidation heatmap. Around 3200, long leverage positions are accumulated, and a rebound to this level could easily trigger forced liquidations, causing selling pressure. Conversely, the 3020 to 3050 zone is a liquidation attraction area for shorts; falling here could squeeze out short positions and trigger a rebound. Major funds are very likely to exploit these two zones to play both sides of the market.

The macro environment hasn't provided much opportunity for upward movement. Global risk appetite remains fragile, and the Federal Reserve's rate cuts are unpredictable, leading to cautious capital flow. Ethereum has no new narrative in the short term; although the Layer2 ecosystem is hot, competition is fierce, gas fees are decreasing, and the initial ETF positive effects haven't met expectations. Instead, high-risk sectors like Solana and Meme coins are attracting capital, and funds are flowing into those areas.

The current opportunity lies in waiting for the second pancake to pull back to a suitable level, with a 200-point rebound space being a good target.

In theory, 3020 should be able to block it, but I bet five bucks that the main force is going to play a double kill trick again haha

It's the same old 3200 long and short trap again, the main force has us cornered, huh? Damn, all the funds are flowing into Solana and Meme, ETH is really being neglected to the bottom. If 3080 breaks, then we have to look at 3020. Waiting sideways for news makes these days a bit hard to endure. Breakthrough 3220? Dream on, unless there's a major positive catalyst, don't even think about it. Wait for the pullback to get in, don't chase high, damn it.

The 3020 defense line must be held, or else the main force will really wipe us all out.

The main force is playing the double kill game again. Can it break through 3220 this time? Feels uncertain. --- 3020 to 3050 is the real test; whether the bears can hold depends on this wave. --- Everyone currently entering the market is a gambler. I'll wait until the news appears before making a move. --- The story of ETH is no longer convincing; funds have all moved to Solana. That’s really heartbreaking. --- After such a long sideways movement, a direction will eventually be chosen. Those betting on a decline should be cautious of long positions being liquidated at 3200. --- A 200-point rebound? Sounds good, but how likely it is, is hard to say. --- The Federal Reserve is still causing trouble; with such poor macro conditions, how can it rise? --- The key is whether 3080 can hold. If it doesn’t, it will head straight to 3020.

I'm really tired of this double kill routine from the main force; they keep playing tricks at these two points every time.

It's the same pattern again. 3020 to 3050 is the slaughterhouse for the bears. The main players have already targeted it. The double kill probability is over 80% and heading upward.

The bulls at 3200 are about to explode, and the main force is just waiting for this double kill.

Once the 3080 breaks, you have to prepare to run; the double kill trick can't beat the main force.

so let me get this straight... we're supposed to believe liquidation heatmaps magically predict whale moves? the math doesn't check out here tbh

Still stuck between 3185-3080, it's really a meat grinder for the main forces' double kill.
