There's a trade that was quite heartbreaking. Half a month ago, I built a position at $2.7, but I sold too early and watched the price surge to $21. Now it's up to $27. If I hadn't moved then, I could have made 20x returns, turning a $10 small account into a $5000 profit. In just a month, I could have quietly made a fortune. Unfortunately, now going short has trapped me, and I have to endure continuous funding rate deductions. The liquidation point is set at $23, and I no longer plan to rescue it. I feel that this market still has the momentum to push higher, and it might really break through $30.

This is the legendary "perfect top escape." Buying in at 2.7 and thinking about panic selling, but ended up missing the entire wave. Now going short in reverse has trapped me inside, and the ongoing fee deductions are really brutal.

This is a typical case of rookie self-discipline. Even if you buy in the right direction, you might end up screwing yourself over. Now the funding rate continues to suck blood. Watching the coin rise while you're getting cut, it's just unbelievable.

nah this is just textbook opportunity cost bias talking. if you actually ran a proper monte carlo simulation on your entry timing, you'd see 2.7 was literally in the 73rd percentile of all possible entry points that month. statistically insignificant difference when you account for volatility clustering.
