Recently, market sentiment has indeed been pushed to the limit, but in this wave of gains, Ethereum's performance has consistently made many veteran players feel "like a thorn in the side." Compared to the frenzy in some sectors, Ethereum seems more like a steady (even somewhat sluggish) middle-aged person.
1. Why are the current gains worth pondering?
Today’s market, ETH has finally touched a key psychological price level. This is not just a rally, but more like a release of a pre-existing expectation of catching up. Over the past period, everyone has been complaining about the Ethereum ecosystem being eroded, but in reality, its on-chain asset accumulation and deflation mechanisms remain a reservoir that funds cannot avoid when liquidity truly floods in.
2. A few details on the market
• Exchange rate turning point: It’s recommended to pay more attention to the ETH/BTC exchange rate. If this rate can break out of a series of high-volume bullish candles from the bottom, then Ethereum truly regains its pricing power. Currently, signs of a rebound are emerging.
• Distribution of chips: The current resistance level is not mainly technical but psychological. Many people were shaken out during previous fluctuations, and now the rally makes many hesitant to chase. This "hesitant rise" often goes further than a straightforward sprint.
3. Next operational logic
My personal view is: don’t chase highs, but also don’t sell easily.
If you hold a core position, the most taboo thing now is frequent position switching. Usually, just after you switch to a coin that hasn’t risen yet, ETH makes a big move. The current volatility is high, and for contract traders, setting stop-loss levels is more important than predicting the direction.
A thought:
The Web3 world changes rapidly, but some logic is fundamental. As long as Ethereum remains the cornerstone of smart contracts, its value discovery will only be late, not absent. This round, I prefer to see it as the starting point of a value return.
Do you think this wave can wash away the stereotype of “second-tier” coins for ETH and lead a new rally? Share your holding costs in the comments.
