Happy New Year! 🥳

After work on December 31st, I was walking alone on the street, feeling a bit dazed. When I got home, I decided to try my luck with crypto assets. I ended up making a move on a popular coin, and the next two days were quite a rollercoaster—both mentally and in my account, I took quite a hit.

This experience made me deeply reflect on a common pitfall for traders: opening a position too early. Too many people rush to heavily invest at the beginning of a trend, only to have their confidence shattered or be forced to add to their position when the market retraces. That was exactly my mistake—entering impulsively before reaching a good entry point, resulting in several rounds of washout.

The biggest lesson is: rushing for quick gains is less reliable than being cautious. The crypto market is highly volatile, offering many opportunities, but only if you survive long enough to see them. Looking back now, those two days of "opening loss lessons" are actually more valuable than making money.

Fellow traders, don’t repeat my mistakes.

Oh no, this is the classic first lesson of the new year. Don't mess with your account when your brain is foggy after work...

Haha, it's the same old story. Those who opened positions early have to go through it all over again.

Haha, this is just end-of-year impulse syndrome, I totally get it. Really, opening a position without waiting for the right opportunity is just asking for trouble. Only by staying alive can you keep making money. That sounds harsh but it's true.

Haha, got washed out? That's exactly why I never chase hot coins... Chasing highs is really a common problem in the crypto world. Starting the new year like this, it's quite intense. Wait, dropping so much in just two days? It can't be that... never mind, I won't say it. I've heard that greed-driven quick gains talk too many times; let's see who can actually do it. Staying alive is more important than anything else, and there's no wrong in saying that.
