From a valuation perspective, crypto asset investments in 2026 may enter a more challenging phase. The market needs to continue climbing, but there are only a few paths—either inflate the bubbles of popular coins even more; or pick up those obscure sectors with declining fundamentals and little investor interest.

From the retail investor's point of view, both options are quite unappealing. In the long run, the price of coins will ultimately have to return to the real value of the projects—this is an inevitable truth.

The current situation is like this: on one side, various new concepts and stories are flying everywhere, but the actual application implementations are nowhere to be seen; on the other side, those promising sectors see their coin prices fall while valuations become more inflated, turning logic upside down.

As an investor, how should you break this deadlock when faced with these two choices? You really need to think carefully. Perhaps the smartest approach is to choose neither, or wait for opportunities from projects with solid fundamentals.

It's quite heartbreaking to hear. Right now, it's all just castles in the air with nothing substantial.

Uh, doesn't that mean retail investors have to gamble or wait to die? I really can't see what the third way is.

Basically, there's no work to do now; it's all stories without real applications. Wait, why is the valuation logic still backwards? The more the coin drops, the more valuable it becomes? Not choosing is also a choice; holding and waiting to die is also a gamble. This round depends on luck. Without fundamentals, who dares to take over?

To be honest, it's really awkward now. Nobody wants to choose between blowing bubbles and picking up trash. That's why I'm basically lying flat now, waiting for projects that truly have value to appear.
