According to ZachXBT’s analysis, Haby is a Canadian cybercriminal who impersonated support staff of a cryptocurrency platform to deceive users and gain access to their funds. After the thefts, the money was reportedly spent on rare usernames on social media, drinks at bars, and gambling.

The investigation reveals that Haby boasted about the scams in private groups. On December 30, 2024, he shared a screenshot showing the theft of 21,000 XRP (about US$ 44,000 at the time) from a user. Days later, he posted images of his Exodus wallet with links to Telegram and Instagram accounts.

By comparing the historical balances of the wallets with the disclosed screenshots, ZachXBT linked an XRP address to two other thefts, raising the initially tracked amount to around US$ 500,000. The investigator also identified the recurring exchange of stolen XRP for Bitcoin, which led to a BTC address associated with Haby.

In February 2025, the suspect displayed a balance of US$ 237,000 in a group, consistent with the history of the identified address. From there, ZachXBT found three more identity theft scams, totaling another US$ 560,000.

The investigation includes a leaked video allegedly showing Haby conducting scams, exposing his email and contact on Telegram. Based on public data, it is believed he is near Vancouver. ZachXBT has called for action from Canadian authorities, highlighting the amount of evidence and the suspect’s lack of remorse.
