Bitcoin Strategy Based on S&P 500 Decline: Stock Investment vs. Crypto Asset Divergence

Abstract generation in progress

【CryptoWorld】Economist and gold advocate Peter Schiff recently posted on social media, directly pointing out issues with a company’s Bitcoin investment strategy. He noted that if this company’s investment approach were applied to the S&P 500 index, its 47.5% decline by 2025 would make it the sixth-worst performing stock in the index. This comment targeted the aggressive Bitcoin buying plan implemented by MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor. Saylor has consistently advocated for the company to heavily allocate Bitcoin as a core asset and has actively executed this strategy. However, in Schiff’s view, this approach results in severe destruction of shareholder value. This disagreement reflects the fundamental opposition between traditional finance and crypto asset allocation philosophies—some see Bitcoin as the ultimate hedge and long-term asset, while others consider it a gambling-like decision. The data is clear: the performance by 2025 may indeed be disappointing, but whether the market will change this conclusion remains to be seen over time.

47.5% decline as a benchmark... Schiff, this guy is still measuring crypto with stock metrics, interesting. If Saylor hears this comment, he must be quite frustrated, but on the other hand, his on-chain wallet data is indeed speaking...

Schiff is back to his old tricks again. The Gold Guru is the Gold Guru, and he doesn't get along with anyone except gold... However, Saylor's move this time is indeed a bit reckless, going all in on Bitcoin—most people really can't do that.

Schiff is starting to bash Bitcoin again. This guy just can't stand BTC's rise... MSTR's recent move is indeed aggressive, but what about the long term? Would this comment still be meaningful ten years from now?

Schiff is rambling again, really bored. Bitcoin either takes off or goes to zero, there's no middle ground. Saylor is the kind of guy who dares to bet, I actually admire that. Traditional finance folks will never understand. A 47.5% drop? If it crashes, it crashes. Anyway, I don't have any money. They really treat reality like a casino, that's the charm of crypto, right? Schiff's gold dream should wake up now, more than half of 2025 has already passed.

Bro, this is the anxiety of traditional finance. I'm tired of Schiff's rhetoric. Saylor dares to gamble, so he dares to win. What do those folks at S&P know? The gold godfather is getting anxious, Bitcoin is eating his lunch. Just wait and see, who will be laughing last in five years.
