Recently, I saw someone using 10,000 USDT full margin to go long with 10x leverage on $PIPPIN. As a result, the market only retraced 3 points, and the account was wiped out. When I checked the trading record, I saw that 9,500 USDT was directly投入,没有设置任何止损,完全是背水一战的节奏。

This incident is worth a thorough analysis. Many traders have a misconception that full margin can better resist跌,实际上这是大坑。用错了全仓,亏损速度会比你想象的快得多。

The real issue isn't leverage itself, but whether you manage your position properly.

Let's look at some numbers to understand. Suppose you have 1,000 USDT, and you open a 10x leverage with 900 USDT. If the market moves against you by 5 points, your account will be爆仓。但换个做法,只用100 USDT开同样的10倍杠杆,反向波动50个点才会爆仓。同样的本金,结果天差地别。

Where is the key difference? It’s in position management.

Many experienced traders have their own risk control systems. To summarize, there are mainly these three points:

**Set a limit on single position size**

If you have 10,000 USDT, the maximum you should invest in one trade is 2,000 USDT, which is 20% of your total funds. Even if you make a wrong judgment, with a 10% stop loss, you only lose 200 USDT, which doesn’t hurt your core capital. There’s always a chance to turn things around.

**Control single loss**

With 2,000 USDT at 10x leverage, set your stop loss in advance so that your single loss does not exceed 3% of your total position, roughly 300 USDT. Even if you lose three times in a row, your principal remains, and your mindset won’t collapse.

**Be cautious in market selection**

Only participate in breakout opportunities; avoid trading in sideways markets. When盈利时,控制冲动加码,止损止盈设好后就执行,别去赌那些不确定的波动。多等待几天,真正的方向性机会总会到来。

I once guided a trader who used to爆仓 every month, with his account repeatedly reset to zero. After explaining these position management principles to him, he finally gained control. In three months, his account grew from 5,000 USDT to 30,000 USDT. He said something that left a deep impression: "I used to think full margin was about拼命,now I understand, full margin is for更稳地活着。"

Crypto trading doesn’t have to拼速度,拼的是谁能笑到最后。别总想着猜对行情方向,管好仓位,稳扎稳打,反而是最快的路。

Market is always there; the key is to keep up with the rhythm. Don’t押所有筹码 just to chase quick profits.

9500U is gone directly, this is the true gambler's mentality Full position is really a poison in trading, I've seen too many cases like this Position management has been said a thousand times, but some people still don't listen, only by blowing up once will they understand This guy's story is a bit outrageous, going from 5000 to 30,000, is it real or fake? Volatile markets are meant for making money, why insist on catching the moves?

Trading with full position is really a suicidal move; not setting a stop-loss is even more outrageous. No wonder you got wiped out. --- Position management is the key. Leverage itself isn't scary; what's scary is having a clear mind. --- No matter how right you are, it’s useless. Some people in this circle just can't change their habit of betting everything. --- Getting liquidated with just a 3% drop, I feel anxious for him. He clearly doesn't take risk control seriously. --- Honestly, few people can do steady and consistent trading; most want to get rich overnight, only to end up zeroing out overnight. --- A 20% single trade with a 3% stop-loss ratio, I agree with this, but knowing and doing are two different things. --- That guy went from 5,000 to 30,000, now that's the right way. He's much smarter than those all-in gamblers. --- The slowest method seems the fastest, but no one listens when you say that. Still, some want to take a gamble. --- Don’t go all-in, really. Save your money for next year to keep earning, don’t risk everything in one shot. --- Trades without a stop-loss are playing with fire. This lesson must be learned.

9500U full position this guy is really ruthless, risking death at just 3 points A trade without stop loss is not a trade, it's gambling Position management sounds simple but is really hard to do, most people are still greedy The example this guy gave is good, opening the same leverage on 100U and 900U and hitting liquidation points are really worlds apart I've seen someone blow up three times in a row, their mentality completely collapsed, and they never came back Would you rather earn 30 times in a month or 6 times in three months? I choose to stay alive Set your stop loss and take profit levels and then stop watching the charts, watching it makes your hands itchy Full position is indeed to stay safer, not to go all-in and gamble

Getting liquidated at 3 points? Those without stop-losses deserve it. I've long learned that capital preservation comes first. --- It's the same old story. How many times have I explained position management, yet some still refuse to listen and insist on all-in? --- That guy is really ruthless. He even threw in 9500U. That takes a lot of confidence. --- Exactly, exactly. You need to wait for the trend; don't waste bullets on choppy markets by messing around. --- The people I know are like that. They make steady profits early on, but end up going all-in on the last trade and lose everything, their mentality collapses. --- That's a good point, but when the market really moves, who can stick to a 20% position? --- A single trade cap of 2000U is a good suggestion. It seems like it could save a lot of people.

Full position is indeed the ultimate move, the kind that kills with a single strike. No stop-loss and 10x leverage, this guy is really a warrior. Position management is correct, but I think most people can't do it at all, including myself. Should have played like this a long time ago, but unfortunately I realized it too late. It blew out at just 3 points? Uh... I set my stop-loss at 5 points. There's nothing wrong with this logic, but no matter how I execute, I just can't keep my hands steady. Those who truly make money are the ones quietly getting rich, not relying on all-in.

Still haven't cut losses after investing the entire 9500U? This guy is really bold, lost just 3 points, I just want to know how he's doing now.
