From retail investors who get liquidated every day to making a living through trading, I have walked this path for eight years. By 2025, my funds multiplied by 50 times, and I even withdrew full amounts to buy houses twice along the way; otherwise, the potential for growth could have been even greater – but behind these numbers, there’s no element of luck, only the human nature honed through countless losses.
Many people ask me what the secret is. To be honest, it's standing on the shoulders of the right people and taking ten years less in detours.
My trading system has only one core principle: position control and rhythm.
Small funds must understand the importance of preserving capital. Whether it's 800 yuan or 2000 yuan, I always start with a third of my position. I never add to my position without a signal, I don't try to catch the bottom, and I don't hold out for a rebound. Once the market starts moving, I take profits on the first leg, take the second leg when it retraces, and continue to take the third leg if it extends. But as soon as it enters a consolidation phase, I immediately close the trading software.
How to handle the money earned? If I make 100 yuan, I will treat this 100 yuan as new principal to roll into the next round. Gradually increase the position, but there is an iron rule: never exceed 30% of the account principal. Once the stop-loss position is set, it remains unchanged, and profits are continuously compounded without betting the account on my emotions.
The result of doing this is:
When others are crazily increasing their positions, I am reducing my positions and exiting. When others are cutting losses and fleeing, I am quietly building my positions.
Things like rollover cannot be achieved through gambling at all. It is the result of compound interest accumulating slowly. This method is designed for small capital— the less the principal, the more crucial the control of the pace. I have seen many people with a few thousand dollars drive themselves to collapse mentally, but my approach is different: it is to solidly execute each trade, ensuring that the account makes a little progress every day compared to the previous day.
True turnaround always comes step by step.
