On December 18, according to Decrypt, Canadian national Jarett Dunn was sentenced to six years in prison by a London judge for fraud and the transfer of criminal property.

Dunn was a senior developer at Pump.fun and stole approximately $2 million worth of Solana tokens from his employer in May 2024, distributing the funds to thousands of random addresses. Notably, Dunn did not keep the funds for himself but distributed them, and later admitted to the crime on social media, earning supporters' nickname of "Crypto Robin Hood."
Dunn had only worked at Pump.fun for six weeks when the attack occurred. At that time, the platform's total revenue was only $43.9 million, which has now grown to $927.2 million. Dunn attempted to frame the attack as a whistleblowing act, claiming Pump.fun was a malicious website, but the judge did not agree with this argument.
