12.18 Bitcoin Market Analysis Reference: After Bitcoin touched the 90,000 level during its upward move last night, it quickly retreated. Subsequently, the bullish momentum weakened, and the gains were fully retraced. Currently, the price has broken below expectations and continues to decline, returning to around 86,000. However, the short-term trend is in a weak oscillation, with the low approaching the previous support level of 85,000. If it breaks below this area, further downward testing is expected.
On the short cycle four-hour chart, the hourly K-line shows obvious selling pressure at the 90,000 level, with a long upper shadow appearing at 20:00 on December 17 and a rapid pullback afterward. The daily chart has closed below 88,000 for three consecutive days, forming a descending three-method pattern. In the short term, a double bottom support has formed around 86,000, but the four-hour MACD shows a weak golden cross below the zero line (with a histogram of only 4.3), and the daily MACD remains in a death cross.
Overall, the price is constrained by various cycle moving averages, currently below the 4-hour EMA7 (86,748). Further downward movement is possible, so it is not recommended to blindly chase longs at this time. Caution is advised to prevent further declines. The current trend is in a oscillating downward phase, with recent gains already absorbed. Therefore, the suggested operation is mainly to short on rebounds, with resistance at around 89,300 and support at 85,000. If the support breaks, further downside is expected.
12.18 Bitcoin Short-term Trading Strategy Reference: Short position at 89,300-90,300 with a stop at 92,500, target below 88,500. For long positions, add at 82,300-83,300 with a stop at 81,500, target above 85,500.
12.18 Ethereum Short-term Strategy Reference: Light short at 2,895-2,945 with a 30-point stop, target below 2,850. Long positions at 2,781-2,731 with a 30-point stop, target above 2,830.
