Raise Smart Cards are coming to Solana: on-chain gift cards and loyalty ecosystem are on the way

【Blockchain Rhythm】Many new developments have been announced at the Solana Breakpoint conference. A project direction recently shared by the Raise Network team is quite interesting—they are building an on-chain smart gift card system on Solana to create a brand loyalty ecosystem.

In simple terms, it’s about bringing traditional gift cards and membership rewards onto the blockchain. Major brands like Uber and Fanatics are already in talks for collaboration, and in the future, users’ points and rewards might exist directly as on-chain assets. The benefits of this approach are obvious—transparency, transferability, real-time settlement, eliminating the need to wait for clearing cycles.

Why choose Solana? The key is its performance. The Raise Smart Cards system needs to handle a large volume of transactions and data records, and Solana’s high throughput and low latency perfectly address this pain point. Compared to other blockchains, it is more competitive in terms of cost and speed, which is crucial for large-scale commercial applications.

This also reflects the Solana ecosystem’s exploration of real-world business applications. From a technical perspective, this not only validates Solana’s performance but also signals that Web3 applications are moving from concept to practical scenarios.

Bringing gift cards on-chain is indeed interesting, but can it really replace traditional points systems? It's a bit uncertain. Solana's performance is pretty good, but stability depends on future performance. If it can really bring in Uber and Fanatics, that would be a big move. Transferable points sound great, but do users really care about that? Anyway, since it's Solana and a big name, the approach feels a bit familiar. This Raise move seems to be riding the wave; let's see if it can be implemented. Real-time on-chain asset settlement is really satisfying, definitely better than waiting for liquidation cycles. By the way, does this prevent point devaluation, or does it depend on the token price?

Uber and Fanatics are here, and now on-chain points are really about to take off. Compared to those dusty membership cards, the ability to transfer is absolutely unbeatable.

Uber and Fanatics are both here? Now gift cards are really going on the chain, it doesn't feel far off. Sol's performance is indeed top-notch, but I'm just worried it might be another wave of scam concepts. Real implementation is the key; it's still early to say anything now. The idea of transferable points sounds great, but how it actually works depends on the implementation. Just don't turn it into another air project.

Solana is launching a new project again... I don't quite understand the gift card on the chain, can points be sold?

Gift cards on the blockchain? Uber and Fanatics are here, so traditional points systems are probably about to be disrupted.

Are Uber and Fanatics both in talks? Alright, let's wait until they actually go live to discuss. --- I believe in Solana's performance, but can the on-chain gift card idea really be implemented? --- Oh, more talk about high performance and high throughput, I'm tired of hearing it. --- The ability to transfer on-chain points is pretty awesome, but will users actually buy into it? --- The real question is whether anyone truly wants on-chain gift cards. --- The Solana team is posting updates again, looking forward to what's next. --- Isn't this just a rebrand of a centralized system? Essentially the same thing. --- Transparent and transferable sounds good, but what about the gas fees?

Wait, are Uber and Fanatics really in talks? If it happens, that would be huge, finally some practical application. --- Is Solana coming to harvest another wave? Its performance advantages are indeed not enough, but could it be another hype? --- On-chain gift cards sound pretty good, but I wonder when普通 people will be able to use them. --- Really? Big brands are all coming to Solana? I feel a bit doubtful. --- Now my points can truly belong to me, no need to worry about merchants running away. --- The collaboration is still in negotiation, don't get too excited everyone. --- Interesting, but the key still depends on user experience. --- Is Solana about to take off again? I haven't jumped on the train yet.

Alright, now gift cards are also going on the chain. Uber and Fanatics are both in talks. It really feels like it's coming. Solana's performance is not comparable to other chains; this really depends on it. By the way, if points can really be transferred, will there be any arbitrage opportunities... If this ecosystem gets up and running, traditional membership systems will be panicking.

Gift cards on the blockchain? Sounds good, but how many people will actually use it? Let's wait until Uber really integrates it, for now it's just talk. Solana's performance is indeed solid, but how long this kind of ecosystem can last still remains to be seen. The fact that points can be transferred is somewhat interesting, but how will the taxes be calculated? Another "big brand negotiations" story, the familiar routine haha
