POPE LEO CALLS ON EUROPE TO TAKE CENTRAL ROLE IN UKRAINE PEACE
After meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Italy, Pope Leo stressed that Europe must be directly involved in any peace plan, warning that it would be “unrealistic” to exclude the continent.
He asserted that European unity is key to achieving a just peace.
