I've always watched those clowns make a fuss from an outsider's perspective. Previously, there was a KOL who used his mother's serious illness to ask kind-hearted netizens for donations. Many people were moved by his filial piety and generously donated.

I, too, quietly transferred the little balance I had in my wallet to the published wallet address along with the crowd. But not long after, it was exposed that this KOL's entire story was just a scripted, photoshopped scam. After the incident, like most people, I blocked this KOL. I didn't post any tweets condemning his ugly behavior, just left comments like "Damn" under a few condemnation posts.

Coincidentally, a few days ago, there was another Elizabeth donation scam incident. It made me wonder, why are these people willing to throw away their dignity and self-respect just to do such filthy things?

It's often said that people's hearts are sinister, especially in this era where material things outweigh spiritual values. Most of us are holding on to what little kindness and goodwill we have left, trying to help others occasionally while still protecting ourselves. This way of behaving extends to the internet as well.

But these people are different. In reality, they're probably even worse than what we see online, because they've easily discarded the last fig leaf that the internet offers them.

I remember a line from a web novel from long ago, "Light Dance Flying," which said: "You'll never know if the person on the other side of the internet is actually a dog." Before the mask is ripped off, no one knows if you're a dog in real life. Well, now, they're worse than dogs.

Now that my fever is gone, I’ve been lying in bed with a dizzy head, thinking about a lot of things. Today, I'm not going to work on any projects—just vent about these people who are worse than dogs.

Lastly, I want to thank those who are still full of love and regularly help others. No particular order in the list below. After writing this, I’ll go back to sleep.
