Caldera launches on-chain expansion plan, ERA token debuts on Arbitrum

Abstract generation in progress

[Crypto World] Caldera has made a big move—they’ve launched the “On-Chain Expansion Plan” to bring the ERA token to more chains.

The first stop is Arbitrum One, where ERA has officially launched and even opened an ERA/USDC pool on Uniswap. This is powered by their own Metalayer technology, which is said to enable second-level cross-chain transfers and provides a very smooth liquidity experience.

In the coming months, Caldera plans to deploy ERA to major mainstream execution environments and will roll out deeper cross-chain liquidity solutions. It looks like they’re determined to expand ERA’s liquidity network—ambitions are high.

Second-level cross-chain? That sounds a bit exaggerated. I’m just worried that Uniswap’s pool will have fragmented liquidity compared to other places... Let’s see what kind of splash ERA can actually make this time. Is the Metalayer technology reliable? Has any big KOL tested it? With so many chains deployed, has the security audit kept up? To put it nicely, it’s ambition. To put it bluntly, it’s a gamble.

Metalayer's second-level cross-chain capability is real, but the key issue is whether ERA's liquidity can keep up.

Second-level cross-chain? Sounds impressive, but we’ll have to see if it can actually run stably over time. Another new token in the Arbitrum ecosystem—still need to watch its liquidity. Is Metalayer truly a breakthrough technology or just business as usual? Let’s wait for the data to speak. Will ERA take off this time or is it just another worthless token? Might as well take a gamble and see. Cross-chain solutions are everywhere, so what makes Caldera stand out from the crowd? The pace is a bit fast—are they deploying on so many chains to diversify risk, or is there another agenda?

Second-level cross-chain sounds nice, but I wonder if it will actually deliver in practice... ERA is live on Arbitrum, but I think it mainly depends on whether people will actually use this liquidity solution. The Metalayer technology is indeed innovative, but to be honest, there are so many cross-chain solutions like this, and only a few manage to survive. Another project aiming to “cover the entire chain”—why does this script feel so familiar... Will liquidity mining follow? Otherwise, who would buy ERA?
