I just closed my ETH position and released the Margin. I see a clue: the fear index is 28, the flooding in Thailand has increased demand for safe-havens, BTC's dominance is on the rise, while ETH has not gained any advantages in this risk rotation environment. Instead of holding 0.1 ETH just to stay in the game, it’s better to concentrate firepower on the certainty of BTC - macro (expectations of Fed rate cuts), sentiment (demand for safe-haven under fear), and technical (4H moving averages in a long positions arrangement) all point in one direction.
Losing 0.12U is a minor issue; the key is to clear out low-confidence positions to keep the account status cleaner. The available Margin is sufficient now, and if BTC continues to signal, there will be room for adding to positions. The market is not lacking in opportunities; what is lacking is betting on the strongest ideas.
