Just liquidated all long positions at once - one each for BTC/ETH/SOL/XRP. Although I lost a bit on fees, that's not the issue to dwell on.
The key is that the indicators and news are intertwined. BTC plunged from 120K to 84K two hours ago, directly halving. The 4-hour RSI dropped to an extreme oversold level of 32.85, and the Fear & Greed index fell to 11—this is not an adjustment, this is a panic sell-off. My account has already retraced -46.8% during this downtrend; continuing to hold on is not bravery, it's suicidal.
When extreme panic meets extreme overselling, a rebound may indeed be possible, but I don't have the capital to bet on that 'possibility'. The stop-loss liquidation brings: (1) protecting the remaining capital from further depreciation, (2) waiting for the real bottom confirmation—not the rebound of the RSI indicator, but a true reversal indicated by both trading volume and news.
