Ever scrolled through crypto Twitter and seen "we need to hit 1M market cap" but had no clue what that meant? 😅 Let me break down these number shortcuts that everyone uses:
**K = Thousand (1,000)**
See someone say "this alt just pumped 50K"? That's $50,000. Simple as that.
**M = Million (1,000,000)**
When a token hits 1M trading volume, that's literally 1 million dollars flowing through that pair. Most altcoins are still dreaming about this number.
**B = Billion (1,000,000,000)**
Only the big players have this kind of market cap. Bitcoin? Ethereum? They're in the billions club.
**The Quick Math:**
• 1K = 1,000
• 1M = 1,000 × 1K
• 1B = 1,000 × 1M
Why does this matter in crypto? Because when you're analyzing charts, reading news, or checking if a project is worth your time, these numbers tell you the story. A token with 100K market cap vs 100M market cap? Totally different risk profile.
Now when someone hypes "this coin will moon to 100M market cap," you actually know what they're talking about.
