The Layer 2 ecological layout of a leading exchange: vertical integration from infrastructure to the Application Layer

Abstract generation in progress

[On-chain] Recently noticed that a leading exchange is frequently taking action in the Layer 2 track. Their high-performance chain Gate Layer is becoming the support framework of the entire ecosystem - developer tools are all available, and GT as on-chain Gas directly connects the entire economic closed loop.

Speaking of practical applications, their on-chain perpetual contract platform Gate Perp DEX now supports 469 trading pairs, with BTC and ETH able to have leverage of up to 125 times, and the liquidity depth is said to be approaching the level of centralized exchanges. For users accustomed to the CEX trading experience, this decentralized solution has indeed lowered the threshold significantly.

Another noteworthy tool is the Gate Fun token issuance tool. It allows for token issuance with zero code, comes with a liquidity pool and anti-Rug mechanism, as well as an integrated distribution channel - this combination is quite attractive for teams looking to quickly launch projects.

From infrastructure to trading layer and then to asset issuance, this vertically integrated approach is actually not new in the crypto space. However, there are not many platforms that can run through all these links while maintaining sufficient liquidity and user scale. If this model can continue to iterate, it may truly provide some reference paths for the scaled development of the entire industry.

There is no leverage that doesn't get liquidated, it's only a matter of time before the pump clears.
