RWA ( Real World Assets ) are assets from the physical world — such as real estate, commodities, government bonds, or other real goods — tokenized on the blockchain, allowing for fractional ownership, increased liquidity, and global access. This digital transformation is expanding the bridge between traditional finance and decentralized finance, promoting transparency, efficiency, and new forms of investment. But there are also challenges: regulation, custody, limited secondary liquidity, measurement of tokenized assets, and auditing costs are obstacles that need to be overcome for the sector to mature.
Among the projects that have stood out in 2025, three deserve attention:
1. Plume — EVM network focused on RWA, which has already attracted over 80 projects during its testnet and raised about US$10 million. Plume offers customized infrastructures for the tokenization of real-world assets, enabling trading, yields, and speculation, with security and transparency.
2. Ondo Finance (ONDO) — project with a strong on-chain and social presence, offering investors tokenized products of guaranteed securities, promoting access for different investor profiles, including retail.
3. Chainlink (LINK) — although traditionally better known for providing oracles, Chainlink is involved in cases related to the integration of real-world data and blockchains, being a key piece in many protocols that tokenize real assets, ensuring trust, verification, and interoperability.
