BitMine becomes the world's largest ETH reserve entity, with Holdings valued at over 4.96 billion USD.
On August 11, the US stock Ethereum strategy company BitMine Immersion Technologies (stock code: BMNR) announced today that its Ethereum (ETH) holdings have surpassed $4.96 billion. As of 10:59 PM Eastern Time on August 10, the company holds 1,150,263 ETH (unit price $4,311), becoming the largest ETH reserve entity in the world.
The company stated that since launching the ETH reserve strategy on June 30 (completed on July 8), BitMine has achieved several key breakthroughs within five weeks: not only has it built the world’s largest ETH reserve, but it has also jumped to the third largest holder of cryptocurrency assets globally, with a total scale of over $4.98 billion, second only to Microstrategy and Mara Blockchain.
Thomas “Tom” Lee, the chairman of BitMine and a Fundstrat analyst, known as the “Ethereum Bull Leader” in this round of the bull market, stated: “The company increased its ETH Holdings from 833,000 to 1,150,000 within a week (with the value soaring from $2.9 billion to $4.96 billion), rapidly advancing its Ethereum strategy. We are leading the industry in the growth rate of net asset value per share of crypto assets and stock liquidity.”
