A Singaporean woman is suspected of being involved in a coin eyewash, and a 23-year-old man involved in the case was arrested while attempting to leave the country.

On June 21, according to Lianhe Zaobao, a woman in Singapore has been suspected of falling into a Crypto Assets investment eyewash since May 2025, cumulatively delivering over 1.3 million Singapore dollars to a 23-year-old man. After receiving a report from the bank, the police quickly launched an investigation and arrested the man on June 20 when he attempted to leave the country at the Woodlands checkpoint, seizing two mobile phones and suspected bank cards belonging to others on site. The man, Chen Jiahau, was charged on June 21 with violating the Computer Misuse Act, and the case will continue on June 27, with the police continuing their investigation into his alleged fraudulent activities.
