Thousands联合The Wildcard Alliance completed a $9 million financing, led by Paradigm and others.

On June 18, Venturebeat reported that Web3 protocol Thousands announced the closing of a $9 million funding round with Web3 game development company The Wildcard Alliance, which was co-led by Arbitrum Gaming Ventures and Paradigm. Headquartered in McKinney, Texas, the two companies were founded by co-CEOs Paul and Katy Drake Bettner, who have worked on games including Words With Friends, Lucky’s Tale and Age of Empires. Currently, they have secured $6.5 million in funding and expect to close the remaining funding in the next 60 days. Funds from this round will be used to accelerate the development of its comprehensive product ecosystem, leverage the Thousands protocol and Thousands.tv platform to open up new creator-centric user acquisition channels, and help launch their upcoming game, Wildcard.
