VanEck's Spot Solana ETF has appeared on the DTCC list.

The VanEck Solana Trust ETF has appeared on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) list under the ticker VSOL. This may indicate a likely approval of the product in the near future.

Note that DTCC is the official clearing house registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It keeps track of transactions with securities.

The fact that the exchange-traded fund has made it onto the DTCC list indicates that it will be approved soon or is in the “final stretch”. For example, spot Bitcoin ETFs were listed with the organization a month before their launch.

Notably, VanEck submitted an application for a spot Solana ETF at the end of June 2024. The product will trade on the Cboe BZX exchange after its approval. It is noteworthy that the company did not include staking in the product structure, unlike those issuers who submitted their papers later.

In addition, at the beginning of June 2025, information appeared in the press that the SEC had contacted applicants requesting amendments to the S-1 forms. This may indicate that the process of their review is moving forward.

There are eight such companies in total. Recently, CoinShares joined their ranks. At the same time, most included staking in their applications, which may cause complications due to its uncertain regulatory status.

Solana (SOL) is trading on the daily chart with a slight gain. There was no clear reaction from the asset to the news:
