His agency, Y1 Entertainment, said on June 17 that Huang had repaid all the arrears in two installments, on May 30 and June 5. Previously, Hwang Jung-in withdrew a total of 4.34 billion won from Hunmin Jeong-in Entertainment around 2022, most of which was used for cryptocurrency investment, in a case involving a violation of the relevant provisions of the Act on Aggravated Penalties for Specified Economic Crimes on misappropriation of funds, and is currently undergoing judicial proceedings.
