AI 'ASMR' videos are now starting to go viral
AI: For rather obvious reasons, the chatbot sounds human enough to produce fake ASMR videos which have started trending recently. These have gotten millions of views on YouTube already, and no doubt will continue being produced.
As someone who actually enjoys real ASMR, I find this to be yet another annoying AI fad. Part of what makes real ASMR nice is that it's a real person, doing real things with real objects, producing natural and authentic sounds. AI simply doesn't have this quality.
