An interesting phenomenon is playing out in the market: the suppression of small-cap cryptocurrencies through the strong performance of Bitcoin. Ordinary investors tend to be keen to buy all kinds of altcoins, and big money cleverly uses these flows to keep pushing up the price of Bitcoin. The problem is that Bitcoin has risen so fast that most small coins simply can't keep up. Worryingly, when the price of bitcoin rises from the $20,000 range to the $100,000 level, the vast majority of small coins not only do not grow accordingly, but lose value by three to four times. With the exception of a handful of projects such as Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Compound(COMP), Most of the altcoins in the market are facing a severe decline. More worryingly, many smaller currencies look set to hit new lows. In this market environment, it is almost useless to continue to cover these currencies, and even if you stick to the margin replenishment strategy for two or three years, it is difficult to achieve a return on investment.
