Just before the military parade in the United States was about to take place, a protest outside the Capitol quickly turned into a large-scale law enforcement operation. According to multiple American media reports, on the evening of June 13, about 60 protesters were arrested by the police for opposing the parade scheduled for the following day.

According to information obtained from CBS, the official statement released by the U.S. Capitol Police indicates that the incident began with a protest of about 75 people near the Supreme Court that evening. Shortly thereafter, 60 of the protesters changed locations and moved toward the Capitol building. Law enforcement stated that these demonstrators breached the established barricades and rushed toward the Capitol building, prompting police to take immediate arrest action.

The police added that among those arrested, two individuals required additional medical assistance and were sent to local medical facilities for further treatment. This protest coincided with the eve of the military parade planned by the United States on June 14, indicating some public dissatisfaction with this military display.
