OpenSea will shut down OS1 version: Features such as Deals, English auctions, and more will be removed.

[Golden Finance] According to reports, OpenSea announced that it will completely shut down version OS1 on June 16, and the new version OS2 will not retain several features including Deals (custom transactions), English auctions, Testnet support, and shopping carts. OpenSea stated that the Deals and English auction features were removed due to low usage. This decision has sparked controversy in the community, with several users expressing concerns that the removal of the Deals feature will increase trading risks, while OpenSea’s Chief Marketing Officer Adam Hollander explained that this feature is incompatible with the mandatory royalty ERC721-C contract, leading to inconsistent product experience.
