CoinVoice has recently learned that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has imposed a ten-year industry ban on former financial advisor Glenda Rogan. Investigations reveal that the advisor transferred at least 14.8 million AUD of client funds into an eyewash in the crypto assets investment during her tenure at Fincare Group from March 2022 to June 2023.
ASIC pointed out that Rogan engaged in serious violations during his time as an accountant and financial advisor in the Sutherland and Wollongong areas of Sydney. Regulators emphasized that this penalty is intended to warn financial practitioners to adhere to professional ethics.
