Los Angeles Mayor Bass declared a state of emergency on the 10th, stating that a curfew would be imposed in some areas of downtown from 8 PM that day until 6 AM the following morning. She also mentioned that the curfew may last for several days and that discussions with relevant officials and law enforcement agencies about extending the curfew measures would take place on the 11th.
