The Battle of Nördlingen (joskus also the Allbuch taistelu) took place on 6 September 1634 during the Thirty Years' War near the town of Nördlingen in southern Germany. In the battle, the Imperials led by Matthias Gallas thoroughly defeated the united army of the Protestants. In the battle, the Protestant army led by Gustav Horn and Bernhard Weimar tried to save Nördlingen from falling into the hands of the besieging Imperials
