[Analyst: “The Summer of Altcoin ETFs” May Arrive in July with SEC Approval] Analysts say that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) may begin approving some exchange-traded funds ( ETF ) linked to Crypto Assets as early as next month, thereby ushering in a “Summer of Altcoin ETFs.” Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted a memo from his colleague James Seyffart on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, which mentioned: “An ETF tracking a broad cryptocurrency index may receive SEC approval next month.” The memo added that the SEC may also “act ahead of schedule” on the applications for Solana and staking ETFs.
