Nasdaq applies to SEC for the expansion of digital asset benchmarks, intending to include XRP, SOL, ADA, and XLM.
According to reports, Nasdaq submitted an 8-K form to the SEC confirming the proposal to expand the encryption benchmark from 5 digital assets to 9, adding $XRP, $SOL, $ADA, and $XLM, allowing Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF ( NCIQ ) to transition to a broader index. The SEC’s decision deadline is expected to be November 2, 2025.
