On June 9, Jin10 reported that the latest international balance of payments data released by Japan on Monday showed that the scale of German sovereign bond sell-offs by Japanese investors in April reached the highest level in a decade. In April, the total net sell-off amounted to 14.8 trillion yen, marking the largest single-month reduction since 2014. Japanese funds net sold 10.7 trillion yen of U.S. sovereign bonds, the largest reduction since October of last year.
