circle has been a close ally to #HUMA from day one. Circle Ventures was among our earliest backers, and much of our infrastructure is built on Circle’s platform. With 4.7 billion dollars in transaction volume, #HUMA is the largest real-world application of USDC to date, demonstrating the power and utility of stablecoins in action. #HUMA has enabled some of the largest payment institutions to adopt USDC.

More than a partnership, it’s a true friendship. When my close friend Li Fan, Circle’s CTO, asked me for a CPO referral, Erbil was my first call. He almost joined Circle, until we decided to launch #HUMA together. Later, watching Formula 1 in Singapore with jerallaire, we laughed about this journey, and celebrated his effort in persuading Erbil of the stablecoin vision, which eventually led us to build Circle’s largest real-world use case: HUMA. Not a bad outcome for all of us, and for the industry.
