Golden Finance reports that U.S. President Trump’s trade advisor Navarro believes that the public disagreement between Trump and Musk is trivial. He stated that Musk is simply “a special government employee who will leave when his time is up.” Navarro said, “People in the White House come and go.” He suggested that Musk’s criticism of Trump’s domestic policy agenda is unfounded and directly countered concerns about the plan from the outside. Navarro also criticized Musk’s long-standing opposition to tariffs, which are central to Trump’s trade policy. “Musk doesn’t like tariffs, that’s all,” he said, noting that Musk has “clearly stated” this since Trump’s first term. Navarro added, “We can have differences on this issue, but I just want to say that during my first term, everyone who said tariffs would lead to economic recession and inflation was clearly very wrong.”
