According to reports, BlackRock’s tokenized money market fund BUIDL announced a dividend of more than $10 million in May, a record high in a single month. Since its launch, the fund has paid out $43.4 million in dividends and currently manages $2.91 billion. Launched by BlackRock in partnership with Securitize, BUIDL invests in U.S. Treasury bonds, cash and repurchase agreements, and issues tokens through seven blockchains such as Ethereum and Solana. In the May dividend, Ethereum network tokens accounted for 93.7% (about $9.37 million), and the rest of the chains together accounted for 6.3%.
