Elon Musk seems to have denied the “confirmed agreement” between Telegram and X AI Grok. A comment on social media from the Tesla founder has left the community bewildered.
A few hours after Durov posted that Telegram and xAI had agreed to a one-year partnership to integrate Grok into all Telegram applications, Elon Musk publicly denied any official agreement.
Elon Musk responded: “No agreement has been signed yet”
Durov’s previous post stated that the integration would be implemented this summer, bringing Grok’s AI capabilities to over a billion Telegram users and strengthening the platform’s financial position.
The initial announcement caused excitement in the Toncoin community (TON), pushing the token up over 10% to 3.45 USD. At 22:29 UTC, Musk directly responded on X: “No agreement has been signed.”

The price of TON has quickly reversed. Within 30 minutes, it dropped sharply from 3.45 USD to 3.27 USD. The 1-hour chart currently shows a significant decline, although the token is still up 8% for the day.
If there is no clarification from both sides, the market may continue to decline.
Conflicting messages have made investors anxious. While Telegram has yet to issue an official follow-up announcement, the lack of consistency between the two tech leaders is raising concerns about reliability and communication breakdown.
Toncoin, which is associated with the Telegram blockchain ecosystem, often reacts to developments within the app.
If the integration of Grok does not materialize, some traders predict that there will be a larger correction as speculative interest gradually wanes.
