The ChatGPT manufacturer stated in a press release on Monday that it plans to open an office in Seoul in the coming months and is hiring staff to support collaboration with businesses and policymakers. OpenAI’s data shows that South Korea is the country with the highest number of paid ChatGPT users outside the United States. This will be OpenAI’s third office in Asia after Japan and Singapore. The San Francisco-based company stated that it currently has nearly 40 employees in Japan and 20 employees in Singapore.
