Bitcoin Becomes Deflationary for the First Time Thanks to Strategy

Bitcoin reserve company Strategy is buying the first cryptocurrency at a rate that exceeds the total output of miners. According to Ki Young Ju, CEO of analytics platform CryptoQuant, this has led to a negative annual inflation of -2.33% for Bitcoin.
“Their reserve of 555,000 Bitcoin is effectively frozen — the company has no plans to sell these coins,” the analyst wrote on social media X on May 10. “Strategy’s holdings alone represent an annual deflation of -2.23%, and when other stable institutional holders are included, the figure is even higher,” Yu added.
Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy, is known as a vocal Bitcoin advocate who has actively promoted the idea of a digital currency with a limited supply to potential investors and has inspired many other companies to follow suit and form their own Bitcoin reserves.#BTC #PI #ETH #GT #XRP
