According to a report from Shenchao TechFlow, on April 30th, the Bitcoin L2 solution Bitlayer announced a partnership with the high-performance Layer 1 public chain Monad. The BitVM Bridge connects to the Monad Testnet, allowing users to experience cross-ecosystem BTC cross-chain functionality in a trust-minimized manner.
After integration, users can cross-chain vBTC from the BitVM Bridge Testnet (BitVMNet) to the Monad Testnet and mint the corresponding YBTC. At the same time, BitVM Bridge has supported the functionality to cross-chain YBTC back to BitVMNet.
