Chiliz price outlook: what do US re-entry plans mean for CHZ?
The CHZ token’s price performance puts it into the spotlight as Bitcoin looks to hold gains following a spike to $93k.
With altcoins like Immutable (IMX) exploding 44%, what is the outlook for CHZ?
In particular, what does Chiliz’ plans for a major US comeback mean?
Chiliz price gains 10% to key level
Per CoinMarketCap, Chiliz (CHZ) price has surged 10% in the past 24 hours. Data shows the CHZ token rose to highs of $0.041
This is a key resistance level that bulls are now testing, with the uptick coinciding with a significant spike in trading volume.
About $64 million in CHZ has been traded across major exchanges in the past 24 hours, showing a 6% increase.
Meanwhile, open interest in CHZ futures has also climbed 16%, signaling growing trader confidence.
This and the broader market’s momentum, fueled by Bitcoin’s nearly 4%, has lifted altcoins across the board
Chiliz plans to re-enter US
Chiliz, a leading SportsFi project known for its fan tokens tied to major sports clubs like FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, is gearing up for a bold return to the U.S. market
After exiting in 2022 due to regulatory uncertainty following the FTX collapse, the company met with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on April 22, 2025, to discuss its re-entry.

Spent last 24h in Washington DC to explore how we can invest in the US again and launch Fan Tokens. As it’s actually public (!), you can see on the SEC website what we are trying to achieve. Very early stage, but also very promising in the long term. Bringing #SportFi in the US.

The Malta-based firm plans to invest $50 million to $100 million in the United States, aligning this massive re-entry with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The US will co-host the showpiece event with Canada and Mexico.
On the regulatory front, Chiliz has argued that its fan tokens, used for fan engagement through voting and rewards, should not be classified as securities. ,
But with pro-crypto sentiment in the mix, the project is poised.
What’s fueling further intrigue is what lies ahead for CHZ. On April 22, Chiliz CEO Alexandre Dreyfus shared a photo on X with Bo Hines, chairman of the White House Presidential Cryptocurrency Advisory Council.
The development hints at high-level discussions.
What does it mean for CHZ?
The market’s reaction to Chiliz’s US ambitions is clear, but can CHZ sustain this momentum?
A successful re-entry, coupled with the 2026 World Cup hype, could drive adoption and push CHZ price higher
Despite a 67% decline over the past year, this bullish flip could help buyers.
If CHZ holds above $0.04, the next target could be near $0.075 and then the psychological $0.10, a level last seen in December 2024.
