Step 1: Create or Import a Wallet
Go to the Gate Web3 homepage and click on “Connect Wallet”. If you have installed the Gate Web3 Wallet Chrome Extension, you can directly click on “Connect Wallet” in the pop-up window on the page.
If you have not installed the Gate Web3 Wallet Chrome Extension, please click on the link to enter the Google Store page for wallet Chrome Extension installation. As shown in the following image, click the “Add to Chrome” button on the right side of the page.
Step 2: Deposit in Wallet
After successfully connecting to the wallet, click to enter the “Wallet Center” page, click on the “Receive” button, and select the currency you want to deposit and the network to which the currency belongs in the pop-up window.
Copy the address to receive the token. Open the website or wallet page where you want to send tokens, fill in the corresponding column with the copied receiving address, or directly scan the QR code for transfer.
Step 3: Go to Trade
At the menu bar, click on “Trade” at the top of the Gate Web3 homepage to enter the page.
You can search for tokens through the search bar on the left side of the page, or directly select tokens in the display bar, or select tokens by clicking on the “▽” button in the transaction bar on the right side of the page.
Click on “Pool Information” in the transaction bar to view the depth, liquidity, and other information in the liquidity pool that supports the selected trading pair. Below the transaction bar, you can view the slippage tolerance of the selected trading pair (click on the symbol after “Auto Slippage 0.5%” to set the slippage), the tokens that can be received at least for one transaction, Gate Web3 as the best planned token trading routing for you and the network fees for one transaction.
