Q1: What led to the decision to make Ready to Fight a Web3-based platform?

The decision to adopt Web3 technology was driven by its potential to revolutionize the sports industry, offering unparalleled transparency, security, and a decentralized framework that aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of boxing, with tokenization and NFTs in our roadmap. We’ve already seen huge growth in the intersection of blockchain and some other sports like Soccer, NBA, F1, so why not Boxing which is one of the biggest sports in the world?

Q2: Oleksandr Usyk mentioned the importance of simplicity in finding sparring partners. How does Ready to Fight simplify this process compared to traditional methods?

Ready to Fight simplifies finding sparring partners by utilizing a streamlined, user-friendly interface that connects fighters based on skill level, weight class, and location, eliminating the complexity and inefficiency of traditional methods. It is as easy as uploading videos of your boxing skills and then the other party finding criteria to see if there’s a fit or not. Explain the true case from the Dominican guy.

Q3: What’s your token and utility around it?

The $RTF token is the CORE of our eco that unifies everything within our app. It serves as the primary means of transaction and engagement within our platform. It has a wide range of utilities:

Q4: Do you have any examples of how the platform has been used so far?

We already have over 130,000 users, including 20,000 boxers on the platform, who have been growing their communities and brands, and connecting with others in the boxing industry through exposure on the platform. Notably, Usyk has found his training and sparring partners for the upcoming 18th May fight against Fury, where they have been paid in crypto on the platform. A key feature of the platform is the ticket office, where RTF offers the ability to buy tickets to some of the biggest fights. Back in August 2023, we sold 4000 VIP tickets in crypto for Usyk v. Dubios event, which had 55M online viewers and 43k in-person spectators, and we hope to continue offering tickets for major events in crypto moving forward.

Q5: Why do you think the crypto community might be interested in using the platform if they are not interested in boxing?

There are lots of ways for non-boxing communities to get involved and enjoy the RTF platform. Firstly, we offer plenty of ways for them to be exposed to the latest boxing news and fighters or buy tickets to upcoming matches, so we hope that this will inspire them to take an interest in this hugely popular sport. However, there are ways for them to earn rewards such as by participating in community events, or in the Cyber Ring game launching soon. They can then exchange any rewards for another cryptocurrency. Alternatively, our upcoming SubRing feature will allow them to purchase digital Rates for boxers, where each purchase increases the value of the next Rate for that boxer, enhancing speculation whilst reflecting the popularity and success of individual athletes.
