Today I am very excited to be here with William - CEO of AI.S, and talk and share views on future AI technology and the AI.S project that William is developing. Hi William, can you introduce yourself a little bit?

William (CEO of AI.Society):
Hi, My name William, I’m very excited to be here today with Gate Community to share about AI Society. About myself, I’ve been dabbled with crypto since 2016-2017 mining BTC just as a personal project. It was right before the first bull run in 2017. I made a little bit of money, got hack, lost everything, so i’ve developed a bit of a love-hate relationship with the crypto industry. Later on in 2020 I started to work full time in crypto from a research/data POV and i fell in love with it again, and has been fulltime in crypto eversince.

On management experience, i have a few years working as a regional manager or a Tech Startup in Australia, oversing the Queensland Region. And before arriving at AIS i was leading the data department for a Web3 aggregator platform in the APAC region.

In the first half of 2023, we have seen an explosion of AI projects with impressive growth. And AI.Society is the next generation of this trend, you can introduce a little about the project. And what makes the project different?

William (CEO of AI.Society):
AI.Society is a project that merges the potential of metaverse and AI NPCs to create a dynamic and immersive digital eco for the user. Imagine youre exploring an Open World metaverse, but instead of encountering normal NPCs, you’ll see AI NPCs with their own character, history, desire or even life goals. No more boring ed interactions with NPCs but now it feels more like youre interacting with a real human being. You can go as far as befriend with them - forging an AI & Human relationship, convince them to join your quests or even hire them to do tasks.

AI Society is built upon a number of pillars.

Metaverse: where users can create their own virtual space like a homebase. Users can acquire land and properties, we’ll have tools allowing you to design and customize your own unique environments. It could be a Victorian city or a Cyberpunk district depends on user’s choosing.

AI NPC: as I mentioned they are AI models with history, characters, likes and dislikes, they are as real as you and I in a virtual world. You can chat with them about problems in real life and they will listen, empathy and even give advise if being asked. Like having a friend or a virtual assistent that could help you with creative works or excercise routines, or maybe even finance and copywriting what not in real life.

User-Operated Nodes: The node operator is a crucial part of the AI Society as they contribute their computing power to fuel AI engine that drives the chatbot functionalities. And in turns for their contribution, they’ll be rewarded with our tokens.

Besides, AI.Society is aiming to be a DAO model, where all participants will eventually be the governers of the entire eco

Could you share about your inspiration and motivation to develop the AI.Society project?

William (CEO of AI.Society):
First of all talking about the metaverse, i do believe a significant portion of our future life will be happeing in the virtual world. Everyone here, all of us have done online shopping, which is something consiered almost unbelievable in our parent’s generation. I have a strong believe that the same is happening to the metaverse and virtual reality. A few years from now it’ll be normal to hangout in one of the metaverse spaces for business, education and entertainment. There’s a report by Markets and markets stated that the metaverse growth at 47% year over year until 2027 - ashtonishing.

Second of all talking about AI we all know the power of AI. ChatGPT launched merely a few months ago and it has penetrated in every aspect in business and real life. In the next few years the AI sector is projected to growth at more than 20% annually. It willl become a trillion dollar market very shortly from the current time as we’re speaking.

So you have AI and Metaverse which are both extremely potential and thriving. The combination of these two from our point of view is innevitable. At the moment we can already see a lot of Human-AI interactions in the physicall world. And soon we’ll be stepping onto the AI’s native universe - the metaverse where the AI-Human interaction a lot more background and context, a lot more depth. Therefore we can foster stronger, more meaningful relationship between Human and AI. So in short, if AI is becoming more and more important to our everyday life, having a virtual world to facilitate their interaction is a must, and thats what we’re building at AIS.

So in the long term, what is the mission and objective of AI.Society?

William (CEO of AI.Society):
So our ultimate goal is to create a collaborative environment where AI and Human can interact easily and in a meaningful way. Think about chatGPT, you might go there with some ready questions and the model would give you the answer, its answer could be helpful or no but rarely you’d describe the interaction as meaningful. You wouldnt “get to know” the model and they wont portray a personality to you (probably intentionally trained that way). AI Society is set out to fill in that missing gap in such interaction. In that environment, human would enjoy AIs support and services, and in turns, helping to train and finetune these AI models. Even to the point that the model is ready for comercialization.

In order to do that, the first goal is to build a comfortable metaverse space of the user, where they can customize their space and environment.

Furthermore, user would be able to customize their own AI assistant, im talking about gender, appearance, voice, and even personality or sense of humour. Only by having a comfortable space with a comfortable subject (which is the AI model), then we can foster very meaningful relationship between users and our AI models.

We also need to establish an economic with a currency for participants. This is where the AIS token comes into the scene.”

Can you share about the Roadmap of the projects in the near future?

William (CEO of AI.Society):
At the moment we are focusing on improving the accuracy and efficiency of the exsiting AI models and AI engine. Working towards the beta launch.

Second biggest item is to finish the data lake to store user’s credential securely. This will be done by the end of Q4.

On top of that we are pushing on the marketing front, just trying to put our projects out there to more and more users and building our initial community base. Of course part of that is the token listing on Gate.io. And the plan is to introduce AI Society and AIS tokens to many more venues and communities.

Actually as a part of our marketing campaign for AI Society and AIS token, i’d like to mention that we’re sponsoring an AIS trading competition on Gate.io tomorrow, November 8th. Could you tell our listeners more about Tokenomics and the purpose of the development team behind the token allocation?

William (CEO of AI.Society):
For sure. As you can see 50% of our token is allocated for node operator’s rewards. It shows how important the node is in the AI society eco.

We also have a very long token vesting schedule. So for the next 4-5 years, only 50% of the token max supply is release to the market. Cuz down the road we’ll transform ourselves into a DAO and handed back the governing power into the community, so the plan is to have a DAO up and running in the next 4-5 years then the DAO themselves can decide how would they like to vest the rest of AIS token.

we’ll attribute around 10% of AIS tokens as in-game rewards. So there will be certain earning capacity as you take part in the AI Society metaverse, however we dont want to over emphasize this feature as its not our point of differentiation.

The rest is pretty basic, some allocation for the team, treasury, etc.
