Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, has again leveraged the power of digital assets to steer philanthropic action, this time supporting the education of primary school students in New Taipei, Taiwan.
On October 30, collaborating with a local artist and the Kanjiao Primary School staff, Gate Charity visited the school to help transform children’s art and creativity into a charitable NFT how to buy ontaign. Located in a forested mountainous area of New Taipei, the Kanjiao Primary School provides education for children from a once-bustling coal mining region.
A local artist, known as Yu-Ting TENG (Selfish Illustration), joined volunteers from Gate Charity in undertaking the art project that both engaged the children’s creativity and provided an avenue for charity cause for the school. The artwork was hand drawn by the children and themed around the Autumn season with styles inspired and guided by Yu-Ting TENG. Gate charity plans to leverage the NFTs to further support the children’s education in the future.
Gate Charity also donated various art and stationery supplies to enhance the children’s learning environment. Additionally, the students participated in fun Halloween-themed activities and an interactive English lesson session, where they participated in a Q&A and received prizes.
Gate Charity’s innovative use of NFTs for charitable purposes has great potential to support important causes and make a positive impact. By leveraging creativity and the popularity of NFTs, Gate Charity has found a unique way to engage donors and promote social good, paving the way for more dynamic charitable giving. This fundraising method has been successfully implemented several times in Taiwan and abroad, and the organization will continue its use in future initiatives.
