Gate Charity's SİNemasal Campus Celebration Marked Republic of Turkey's Centennial

Gate Charity joined the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey at the SİNemasal Campus in Hatay Samandağ on 29 October, 2023.

Sinemasal Academy, a charity organization committed to helping children and youth in disaster-stricken areas, aims to improve their lives through education and psychological support. The academy serves children and adolescents aged 5-17 living in tent and container cities by offering an after-school education and six hours of daily outdoor activities. The project includes a 28-week program comprising outdoor film screenings, theatre and concert events for children, mathematics, science, visual arts, sports activities, and outdoor workshops.

SİNemasal Campus, established with the support of Gate Charity, marked a historic milestone as it was inaugurated on this significant day. The event was graced by government officials, Hatay’s governor, and various organizations, all gathered to celebrate the Republic’s centenary.

The highlight of the day was the enthusiastic participation of over a thousand children, adding joy and patriotism to the celebration. Gate Charity played a vital role by supporting the Campus’s establishment, organizing a heartwarming face-painting activity for the children, and providing gifts. Gate Turkey actively participated in the 100th-anniversary celebration.

Gate Charity has touched the lives of 100,000 individuals in Samandağ through cultural initiatives like cinema, theater, and concerts. Gate Charity’s commitment to the community extends beyond the Republic Day celebration, including ongoing support for February earthquake victims.
